But a bit depressing that there's yet another example of corporations not putting enough effort into examining the recipients of their sponsorship. There was a similar example this summer here in Canada, where a Tim Hortons went against the Head Office corporate policy of not funding special interest groups when it funded a 'horray for the traditional family day' barbecue organised by an anti-gay group. Luckily the funding was withdrawn before the event, and I'm happy to report that most Canadians agreed with the decision, although some locals in the American town where the event was to happen were not happy about it.Nataliehttp://www.seabuckthorn.netnoreply@blogger.com
