It's bad enough the furore around the Professor Bain conflict of interest matter persists and bullying perceptions by the LGBT lobby collectively abounds now some three days after the sensational headline on the Observer online of a male jogger who allegedly suffered a sodomotical attack in the upscale community of Queenshill the fire storm continues with bizarre linkages to the homosexual agenda as it were and lobby bullying, some have gone as far to make threatening phone calls to talkshows on the issue suggesting that homosexual males are out to get every available male anus they can plug in a bid to force the rest of the nation to accept our supposed "nasty lifestyle" as if it is only anal penetration that defines us. This is aided and abetted by all too eager religious voices one of whom spoke on Newstalk 93FM earlier on Freshstart Reverend Peter Espeut while pretending to be tolerant claimed that the call for privacy and consent in anal sex between adults cannot be claimed as a human right and that a woman has no right to decide to kill a foetus despite the fact though it is not of her body per say but in it it is murder.
Talk about narcissistic complexes, other persons are asking why has JFLAG been so quiet and adding insult to injury its chief Programs Officer chooses to seemingly ignore the matter and wrote an article about teachers instead. The firestorm on other micro-blogging platforms are too numerous to list but groups such as
active again in recent times. Others have gone into hiding in fear of being infiltrated by activists and reported. As a recent case of an overseas based activist outing of his student loan proved. It feels like I am back in the late nineties and early 2000s the temperature is a little queezy in terms of a tense but cautious stance on all sides.
Meanwhile something is bothering me as newscasts have carried that the police have not received any report on the issue days after and have appealed for any information or the victim to come forward, knowing our police culture that person would be very hesitant to do so in fear of ridicule and embarrassment.
here are some of the other bizarre and threatening comments from Newstalk 93FM
Now see some of the other comments from the Observer:
Today's cartoon by Clovis makes a mockery of the issue trying to twin the homo-paedophile construct and the protection of the young imperative, as I commented on a video of Queen Ifrica yesterday where she separated (honestly or not) paedophilia from homosexuality:
"The perceived sexual orientation of a paedophile perpetrator is not important, once ANY adult has sexual desires for under-aged persons that is a diagnosable deviant sexual disorder according to the Diagnostic Statistical Manual, DSM the guide for psychologists and the psychiatric profession and there are prescribed courses in law and pharmacologically to address such matters, homosexuality however was removed from the DSM in 1973 and is not considered a disorder and more innate.
At least it is a start that she has begun to separate the paedophile construct from adult male homosexuality and recognised the difference in a sense, the next stage is to discuss this rationally and without emotional drama but to suggest gays know who in their midst are paedophiles is a stretch as it is not as if those persons who carry out such acts do so with the knowledge of others or their peers."
THE attack and rape of a male jogger in Queen Hill, St Andrew, early Monday has sparked shock and outrage among Jamaica Observer online readers. The readers were reacting to a story that was published yesterday. Here are some edited comments:
Dedevelopment
Horrid. And when them 'activist' read this them tings tun up.
Paddy5
A few days ago we heard about "gun-totting gays" in the community now it moves up another level...it really tun up.
CHUCK EMANUEL Original
The homosexual community is emboldened. Why? Ever since the prime minister bold declaration that she will seek a parliamentary conscience vote, the voice of the gay community is getting louder and louder almost drowning out the voices of those who oppose.
coolasthesun
This doesn't look good on the gay community at all. After all the progress they have made/making starting from a blatant disadvantageous position this may significantly retard their efforts. Waiting to see if JFLAG publicly condemns this act and calls out their peers on this one.
Pete
If this story is true. Why hasn't the police confirmed? Rape is rape, and perpetrators should be found and punished to the full extent of the law.
firebun
OMG! Is this for real?
Jamdowner
Crime reaches rock bottom now. It can't net worse than this. The Jamaican society is sick.
clirey
The whole world is sick..Crimes of all types are escalating all over the world, and appears to be getting more bizarre, with every passing day..
Guest
This is not crime. This is war!
Ramone
Whenever you say things can't get worse, usually that's when it does. If history has taught me anything, is that as far as human nature, there is no such thing as "rock bottom". It's unfortunate, but that's just how it is.
OC
This is what Jamaica is coming to.
Sondon
Now we see where this nonsense is heading. We have thugs who will now rape men just to push their agenda. Now you imagine? If this story is true, man can't walk free in Jamaica any more. This is crazy!
newschecker
What a sick act! I'm speechless.
rasbenji
No Shock. It's clear there are no stops to this run-away towards 'failed state' status. Some say we are already there.
Shaine
I do not want to believe what I just read!
jayjayja
This cannot be true, no way, it cannot be true! Not in Jamaica. Bad man nuh inna dem tings deh !
Andrew Saunders
Do not naturally assume that the rapists are homosexuals. Rape is about establishing power over and driving fear into individuals. There have been many well documented cases of "straight men" involved in gang raping both male and female victims.
Stafford
This is what these people want. The idea is for them to become untouchables by getting international support from places like the White house, the Vatican, and the House of Commons and then they start to have their way.
XAMYCA
This must be fiction. I wouldnt want to think something like this is random.
Joel bookal
When I saw this headline, I would've never thought it was Jamaica. Whats next ?
NejeeperKNG
Mothers and fathers hear me: the same attention that we are giving to our daughters should be given to our sons. They are now on a roll, only God knows what diseases this man was exposed to at no fault of his.
JahB
I bet yuh any money that this is not the first time men have been raped in JA. Imagine the shame! No wonder the victim didn't make a report. As real Jamaicans, we need to take back our country and get back on the civilized track. This is awful.
headnuhgood
Based on the story from Sunday about the "thugs", I am hoping that this isn't true. Whether a certain cohort is responsible or not, they will be blamed. The one thing that cannot be denied is that a certain cohort has been emboldened. The question then become which comes first, the chicken or the egg, (badman/rapist or gay?)
Foxlylady
OMG! What a dastardly act. This is one of the areas in Kgn that I thought was reasonably "safe." Report it and let those animals be caged.
Guest
When a member of the homo community is slain, J-FLAG is heard. Let's see if they will be heard when one of theirs is the perpetrator and not the victim.
QueenB
Unbelievable, I can understand why the jogger, didn't report it, can you image how embarrassing that would be for him, to advised police offices that he was raped. I would advise our parliamentarians to think long and hard about the implication of reviewing the buggery law. May God help us and even more so, our children and our children's children.
niceladyjam
Oh God! Not in my country! I am in tears. My prayers are with this man. May God help him through this terrible trauma.
Mr J
When you think you've heard the worst, something even worst happens. Women, Children now men are victims. For the people in high places who think this could not happen to them, think again. No one is exempt.
Carb
The gays are not troubling anyone, they said. Review the buggery law, they said. The gays are the ones targetted, they said. Smh.
ian B
Is this true? Is this really Jamaica?
The Pedestrian
This not helping your cause to see buggery laws repealed. Instead it has strengthened our resolve to ensure it is NOT repealed. See, the man didnt even make a report to the police. I wonder how many more men have been raped by these thugs, misfits? Yet the government has remained as silent as a rodent in hiding.
Abby
Where are the voices that were so strong against Professor Bain.
more audio from Newstalk:
Peter Sparks
Where is JFLAG? How them keep so quiet!
Clovis has answered that last one
The timing of this could not have been more wrong or opportune for some as they see it, the last question on the opposers to Bain they have been quiet thus far, let us see if they will also deceptively use this case to push their anti gay agenda as well, the whole thing just reeks with misplaced principles and unethical posturings.
